Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Costing and Business Intelligence team, supporting the Finance Manager in delivering an effective business intelligence solution to enhance both data analytics and self-service Patient Level Costingwithin Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board.
You will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have significant analytical and logical abilities in working with complex data. We are looking for a highly organised individual who is able to operate independently on projects on a day-to-day basis. You should be confident, self-motivated and be able to demonstrate a high level of knowledge and expertise in data manipulation of large volumes of data.
Main duties of the job
As a key member of a small team, you will be expected to contribute to all aspects of Costing and Business intelligence management in a positive and pragmatic manner.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Responsibilities of this post will include:-
- Develop and maintain systems that provide full suite of Patient Level Costing data for the UHB Ensure accurate costing information is provided within agreed deadlines. Ensure robust systems of governance (including financial, audit, information) and risk management are adhered to. Develop a plan for the continuous improvement in quality of costing output to reflect the need and priorities of the UHB Assist the Finance Manager Costing & BI in the planning for and production of the annual reference cost submission to WG Ensure the costing processes, and its outputs are developed in line with UHB Support the Finance Manger Costing &BI in prioritising developments in costing.
