Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time staff nurse to work within the Mental Health Inpatient Rehabilitation Services in the Bridgend area.
Cefn Yr Afon is an eight bedded rehabilitation and recovery unit that provides a step down service to patients from various inpatient and community settings.
Our philosophy is to provide a person centred service which maximises the person's quality of life, promotes independence, and social inclusion whilst maintaining the focus on individual strengths, providing hope on the journey towards recovery.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate would be expected to assess, plan, facilitate and deliver care to all inpatients and to ensure that all aspects of their care is delivered to the highest possible standard. This includes working as part of a multidisciplinary team and liaising with a variety of professionals/agencies both in the community and within inpatient services.
Staff work on a 12 hour shift pattern which includes days, nights and weekends.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
