Job summary
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a newly established Pulmonary Rehabilitation multi disciplinary team, covering the Rhondda Cynnon Taf and Merthyr areas in Cwm Taf University Health Board. The post holder will be involved in the planning and delivery of the new service, providing Chronic Respiratory Disease sufferers with holistic rehabilitation. Within the team you will be supported by Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Dietetic colleagues, and will have opportunities to develop skills to enable you to support all three disciplines.
The post will be very varied, with work in community and hospital settings, providing support to respiratory patients via group and 1:1 education and physical activity. The post holder will need to work well within a team and embrace change and improvement, and be passionate about supporting patients with behavior change in long term condition management.

Main duties of the job
To work as part of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Service to undertake specific clinical tasks to promote independence, health and well-being, implement intervention programmes and support service users as instructed and delegated by the Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Dietician, responding flexibly to the needs of the service. you will be delegated a caseload of non-complex patients to deliver interventions, prescribed by and under supervision of the Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Dietetics staff.
You will be delegated administrative tasks, participate in project work, audits and provision of relevant statistics for the benefit of patients or the service.
The post holder will need to be able to prioritise their own work and carry out duties, as prescribed by the Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Dietetics staff, making reference to Team Lead regarding management or service issues when necessary
