Job summary
The role is to provide psychotherapy to adults of working age and older people living in Cwm Taff Morgannwg. The service works with people with mild to moderate common mental health problems, such as anxiety and depression, adopting goal focused, brief approaches to improve wellbeing. Often those improvements are achieved quickly and make a significant difference to peoples' lives.
Main duties of the job
Applications are invited from experienced clinicians with a post graduate psychotherapy qualification (such as CBT) recognised for treating common mental health problems such as anxiety or depression. You should be registered with a recognised psychotherapy regulatory body (usually BABCP, BACP, UKCP, HCPC) and be eligible for accreditation with that regulatory body.
There may be scope for direct or remote working, as well as blended options of partly direct and partly video therapy.
Significant experience and expertise in delivering evidence-based, protocol driven psychological interventions for comment mental health presentations are essential. You must have experience working with adults and/or older people.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
