Job summary
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join our developing Frailty Services in Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board(CTMUHB).
During the developmental period the post holder will be paid at the top of a Band 8a level in accordance with Annex 21 of the Agenda for Change Terms and Conditions.
The post holder will be required to demonstrate evidence of completion of HEIW Portfolio for Enhanced, Advanced, and Consultant Clinical Practice Wales within a maximum of 3 years (36 months).
During months 1-12, pay will be 65% of the top of Band 8a, during months 13-24, pay will be 70% of the top of Band 8a and during months 25-36, pay will be 75% of the top of Band 8a.
Upon successful completion and approval of the Portfolio, even if sooner than the 3 year (36 month) allocated timeframe, the post holder will automatically move to the Band 8a as they will meet the full outline of this role, and therefore be expected to undertake all duties within this Job Description.
Under Category (iii) of Annex 21 - In the circumstance of trainee salary being lower than the current staff salary there will be continuity of pay for the duration of the training to avoid financial detriment.
Following this training, the remuneration will be the bottom of the Band, again without financial detriment.
