Job summary

This is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic & keen doctor, with an interested in Rheumatology to provide holistic care.

Main duties of the job

You will provide a clinical service with Rheumatology colleagues, which will include the responsibility for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of illness as an inpatient and as an outpatient.

Job responsibilities

The post holder will provide middle grade support the Rheumatology Consultants. There will also be a junior team to support the Consultant/Middle Grade.

The post holder will also be required to adhere to the principles of good medical practice laid down in the guidance of Good Medical Practice issued by the General Medical Council.

Education/ Qualifications and training

  • Basic medical training

  • MRCP /DGM ACLS certificate

  • 4 years post graduate training (or equivalent gained on part-time/flexible basis), at least 2 of which are working at CMT level (of equivalent) in Medicine

Desirable

  • Previous training Full registration with the GMC with a licence to practice in Rheumatology
