Job summary
Two vacancies have become available for a full time and part time Band 6 Registered Nurse on the fourteen bedded Critical Care Unit at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurses with the capabilities to encourage change and development to work on our ITU/HDU/PACU unit.
A development program for band 6 nurse management is available for the successful applicants.
The person must be able to work as part of a team and be a good communicator.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
As a band 6 Registered Nurse you will be managing the 10 bedded Critical Care unit in the absence of the band 7 Sister Charge Nurse.
You will be responsible for band 5 Registered Nurses and students to help educate and train them to work in Critical Care.
The post holder will be required to ensure the highest standard of patient care, which reflects the quality standards and mission of the University Health Board and contribute to the implementation of policies and procedures within their sphere of responsibility.
