Job summary
Cwm Taf University Health Board seeks to appoint a highly motivated individual to join the CAMHS Directorate in an innovative and dynamic team based within the Cwm Taf Morgannwg Locality.
The successful candidate must have the calibre to work at a fast pace, and support the Senior Nurse in leading a diverse team of nurses based within the Cwm Taf Morgannwg Locality.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the provision of day-to-day operational management, and leadership of CAMHS Learning Disabilities.
The LD service works with children age 0-18 with moderate to severe learning disabilities who are displaying behaviours that challenge with emotional distress.
The post holder will lead the team to draw on behavioural/PBS, attachment and systemic models to assess, formulate around and work with young people, their families and systems of support.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
