We are looking for a natural team player with excellent communication skills who is able to think on their feet and work in a co-production with adult clients - always offering a patient centered and holistic approach to intervention. You will demonstrate our health board values of listening, learning and improving: treating everyone with respect and always working together as one team.
You will be based in Ysbyty Cwm Rhondda Hospital in LLwynypia and offer support to clients across the Rhonnda and Merthyr areas of the Health board.
Main duties of the job
You will have the opportunity to work across outpatient and community settings including care homes and clients own homes, where the need arises. The caseload is varied including stroke, progressive neurological conditions and includes the opportunity to work with clients with voice difficulties.
Cwm Taff are a friendly and compassionate team who place a strong commitment to support staff well being , supervision and continued professional development. We have an in-service training program for our Band 5 staff.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
