Job summary
We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated occupational health nurses to work part-time as part of the Occupational Health multidisciplinary team. You will be working in a supportive team environment; playing a crucial role in providing a compassionate and professional service that is instrumental in the care of our staff and external clients.
The post-holders will be expected to provide professional, objective occupational health advice to all relevant stakeholders, undertaking case management and provide reports and advice to managers and employees including return to work and rehabilitation programmes.
The post holders will be able to recognise when to refer and/or escalate to the occupational physician or a senior OH nurse for advice as and when needed.
Excellent communication and team-working skills are required as well as a sound knowledge of standard IT systems.

Main duties of the job
The post holders are responsible for providing comprehensive and objective occupational health advice to Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTM UHB) employees and other external contracts.
The post holders will exercise considerable initiative, work autonomously and will establish relationships with service users and agencies and will be a key player in the rapidly evolving occupational health service in line with current occupational health initiatives.
