Job summary

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Clerical Officer to join our Pembrokeshire School Nursing Team. The post holder will provide a comprehensive, professional and confidential administrative service to support the delivery of high-quality care to children and young people.

You will work both independently and as part of a supportive team, ensuring that information is accurate, up-to-date and completed within agreed timescales

This post is 37.5 hours per week, working all year round on a permanent basis.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be expected to travel between schools and office bases, providing clerical support to the School Nursing Team.

The post holder will provide general administrative support to the service, including dealing with enquiries, managing room bookings, filing, and liaising with internal and external staff. Duties include meeting and greeting service users for clinics, providing non-clinical appointment information, handling telephone and email queries, and taking minutes when required. The role also involves managing mail, ordering supplies, maintaining notice boards, and reporting estates issues. All responsibilities must be carried out in line with Health Board policies and procedures. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
