Job summary
The Specialist Perinatal Service is excited about the development of a permanent, part time, Perinatal Peer Mentor Support Worker post covering three counties, but working predominantly in Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Our Health Board is at the forefront of delivering this innovative, preventative service, by fully integrating Perinatal Service provision within our routine antenatal services, offering all Specialist assessments in antenatal departments to normalise Perinatal Mental Health in our local communities.
Main duties of the job
We are looking to recruit an experienced Peer Mentor Support Worker, who has experience of working with either health visiting, midwifery, adult or maternal mental health. The successful candidate will join a passionate, dynamic and creative team, who are focused on ensuring a more secure start in life, for all children, building resilience, which leads to a brighter future.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
