Job summary
We are looking for motivated and adaptable pharmacists to join our Bank team, particularly to support the safe delivery of systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT). This element focuses on the clinical screening of SACT prescriptions using the electronic prescribing system, Chemocare, and can be carried out remotely, offering flexibility while contributing to a highly specialist area of practice.
As a Bank Pharmacist, you will provide expert pharmaceutical advice to healthcare professionals and patients, promote safe, evidence-based and cost-effective use of medicines in line with the HDUHB Formulary, and ensure patient-centred care.
Main duties of the job
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered pharmaceutical care
- Provide expert advice on the safe, effective, and evidence-based use of medicines to prescribers, healthcare professionals, and patients.
- Support dispensary services, including clinical screening, and ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with professional and organisational standards.
