Job summary
We are looking for candidates with appropriate qualifications and experience to join our teams on Dyfi ward and the Cardiac monitoring unit at Bronglais hospital.
The post holder willneed to have excellent communication skills andwill act as first point of contact for all non-clinical issues on behalf of the Ward Manager. The post holder will also liaise with Health Board staff at all levels and outside contractors / suppliers.
An exceptional eye for detail and excellent organisational skills are also essential for this role and you will be expected to demonstrate initiative in planning your own workload in a way that supports the work of the Senior nursing team.

Main duties of the job
You will act as personal assistant to the Senior Sisters/Charge Nurses and deputies, providing secretarial and administrative support, to include diary management. You must be able to demonstrate excellent verbal, written and IT/computer skills, as well as organisational, planning and negotiation skills.
You will act as first point of contact for all non-clinical issues on behalf of the Senior Sisters/Charge Nurse and liaise with Health Board staff at all levels and outside contractors / suppliers. Main Duties will include
Arrange book process and record personal staff development reviews.
Arrange, book monitor and type up sickness reviews.
Manage and calculate Annual leave as well as managing ward rosters.
Processing donations/charitable funds and ordering through oracle.
Arranging ward meetings, taking minutes, maintaining notice boards and Teams channels.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
