Job summary
We require an enthusiastic and committed individual, to provide administration support to the Health Board Waiting List / Pre Assessment Departments.
To work as part of the Waiting List Management Team as a waiting list / pre assessment officer and provide comprehensive coordination and administrative support services to the waiting list manager / RTT Lead and the team.
You will be required to be flexible to meet the needs of the service and able to work well within the team.
This post is permanent.
Main duties of the job
You must possess excellent organisational and communication skills and be able to undertake a wide range of clerical duties. Accuracy of work and strong keyboard / IT skills are essential, together with the ability to manage your own workload.
The Waiting List Department offers a friendly, pro-active team who will provide you with the necessary support and encouragement.
The post holder will be responsible for assisting the coordination of designated waiting lists, as required, while supervised by the waiting list supervisor.
You will be expected to handle confidential health records both manually and on WPAS and demonstrate the ability to handle sensitive and confidential patient information.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
