Job summary
Would you like to develop your skills on educating and supporting our front line multi-disciplinary clinical staff to improve their recognition and escalation of the acutely unwell patient?
We are seeking an enthusiastic confident registered professional who currently works within the acute services.
You must have an up to date U.K. Resuscitation Council approved Advanced Life Support/European Paediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate or willing to undertake an ALS/EPALS Course to achieve provider/instructor status.
Main duties of the job
We are a dynamic and enthusiastic small team who are passionate in improving patient outcomes.
The team are very experienced clinical professionals whose aim is to empower the front line clinical teams to effectively recognise , manage and escalate an acutely unwell patient.
Provision of level 3 Immediate Life Support Training and ward based education to a broad field of clinical staff across the Health Board.
Monitor standards of resuscitation practice and equipment.
Support the clinical areas with their quality improvement plans in response to the Acute Deterioration Programme.
This post is based predominantly at Bronglais General Hospital in Aberystwyth, but may require travel to other hospitals within Hywel Dda Health Board.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
