Job summary
We are looking for a enthusiastic and dedicated Theatre Scrub Practitioner to join our team based across Hywel Dda University Health Board. We have vacancy available in the following areas:
- Theatre Practitioner - Scrub - Withybush General Hospital, Withybush. (1 x 37.5 hour post)
Main duties of the job
We are looking for Nurses/ Operating Department Practitioners that are passionate & motivated about delivering the best care possible, who have excellent communication skills and are willing to work as part of a committed and skilled multi-disciplinary team.
Theatres - There are multiple theatre sites within Withybush General Hospital, Haverfordwest within Hywel Dda University Health Board which cover a range of specialities including, but not limited to, emergency surgery, general surgery, trauma and orthopaedic. Each individual theatre team comprises of scrub staff, circulating staff, Operating Department Practitioners, Recovery staff and HCSW's, and there are a range of opportunities within main theatres. The shift pattern comprise Day shifts, evening and weekend work, with an on call commitment.
There may be an expectation to travel to other sites when needed.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
