This is an exciting opportunity within the cardio-respiratory diagnostic team at Glangwili Hospital for an administrator with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. We are seeking an administrator to take the lead in supporting cardiac rhythm management services by co-ordinating pacing implant and follow up and the provision of cardioversion.
The postholder will hold the health board waiting list for pacing implant and assist the clinical team from referral of patient to post implant care. They will also co-ordinate cardio-version waiting lists and bookings for Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire regions.

Main duties of the job
Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and will provide expertise in the proactive management of the patient pathway from referral to discharge, co-ordinate diaries and schedules within the service to maximise service capacity and booking capacity across multiple health board sites and multiple diagnostic investigations and treatments.
Ensure high levels of patient and clinician satisfaction by being an accessible, customer focused and knowledgeable point of contact for all administrative duties relating to patients' pathway of care, providing secretarial and administrative support to the clinical staff within the service, including scheduling, typing and recording meeting minutes.
Provide training and support to new and junior staff in the areas where they are expert.
