Job summary
We require a suitably qualified Sonographer to join the forward thinking teams in our busy Ultrasound department where role development is encouraged in line with service need. Candidates suitable for these roles will be qualified with proven experience in both general and obstetric ultrasound examinations.
Applicants must be a Registered Health Professional with an appropriate post graduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound and evidence of relevant experience. Applicants must possess excellent communication skills, be dynamic, kind and support management to meet the needs of our patients and deliver excellent care. A flexible approach to service delivery is required.
We would encourage Sonographers who may be interested to get in touch. We are keen to discuss employment possibilities to include base site and flexible working options such as compressed hours which would meet with the requirements of the individual and the relevant department.
Main duties of the job
You must possess excellent communication skills, be tactful, diplomatic and able to work alone and as part of a team in our busy departments. In addition you may be involved in the supervision of student Radiographers.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
