Job summary

The Business, Partnerships and Inclusion Team are seeking a Partnerships Programme Support Manager to join their fantastic team. Specific objectives and areas of work can be found in the full Job Description, but the role will mainly focus around:

Providing programme management support to the Carers and wider Strategic Partnerships function.

Working autonomously to develop and manage elements of specific processes, such as the commissioning of the unpaid carers support services, projects and programmes.

Formulating, implementing, and monitor progress of specific Carers and Partnerships activities to ensure that all work streams are planned, documented, and managed effectively to assist in their successful delivery.

Main duties of the job

The Partnerships Programme Support Manager will work alongside the Strategic Partnership and Inclusion Manager and the wider Business, Partnerships and Inclusion team. Both have strong connections to internal and external partners.

They will work autonomously to provide high level project and administrative support in the planning and delivery of a wide range of Carers and the wider Partnerships projects/programmes.

Other duties include organising events and meetings, either in person or online. Including staff network meetings and collaborative forums, which could include sourcing internal or external venues/presenters. They will be experienced in developing and delivering presentations to support the programme delivery such as co-delivering awareness raising training, or presenting reports to partnership groups.

The Partnerships Programme Support Manager will ideally have knowledge of contracts and commissioning processes and of Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act, Equality Act (2010) and other relevant legislation.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
