This is a 1.05 wte Band 5 permanent post, various hours available.
Amman/Gwendraeth team are looking for a motivated Band 5 nurse to join the team. The area is partially rural so you would have to have good time management skills, be organised, enjoy working as part of a team and as an autonomous practitioner.
Training will be offered as part of the post.You must have the ability to travel between rural sites in a timely mannerwhere there is limited or no public transport.
Main duties of the job
The role of Community Nurse will involve: -
Catheter management
Palliative care
PICC Line management
Implementing the Nursing Process
Leg Ulcer Management
Wound Management
Venepuncture
Manual Evacuations
Management of drains.
Liaising with Primary Health Care Team and other agencies.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
