Job summary
Ensure robust governance over the patient pathway for Community Dental Service, by maintaining oversight and management of both clinical capacity and demand, as well as the operational patient waiting list.
Collaborating closely with the Management Team, clinicians and information teams, maximise utilisation of clinical resources available and aim to provide a patient-focused, professional, consistent and responsive service.
Main duties of the job
In this role, you will be responsible to ensure our patient waiting lists are accurately maintained and up to date. You'll play a key part in co-ordinating the next steps in a patient's journey, making sure they receive the right clinical and administrative information at the right time -- whether it's about their appointments or upcoming procedures.
You'll also work closely with our operational management team to help improve patient experience and achieve key performance targets, such as reducing missed appointments (DNAs).

Hywel Dda University Health Board plans and provides NHS healthcare services for people living in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, and bordering counties.
