Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our expanding Occupational Health Service.

The role will cover all core aspects of occupational health provision, pre-employment assessment of staff, immunisation programmes, health promotion, health surveillance and daily provision of advice for service users within the Health Board.

We have full or part time hours available.

Main duties of the job

Applicants should be able todemonstratethe use of evidence-based practice and be proactive in managing change. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

We have vacancies across the Occupational health service in Withybush, Bronglais and Glangwili General hospital sites. The successful candidate will be required on occasion to cover clinics across all 4 sites where needed.

Successful applicants will be given support and training for the post, we encourage professional development within our service.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Hywel Dda University Health Board plans and provides NHS healthcare services for people living in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, and bordering counties.

We have over 13,000 staff and together we provide primary, community, in-hospital, mental health and learning disabilities services.
