Job summary
An opportunity has arisen at Glangwili General Hospital for a motivated and forward thinking Pharmacist to become part of a well established team of pharmacy staff providing pharmaceutical care and expertise to a wide range of medical and surgical specialities including coronary care, acute stroke, respiratory, urology, trauma and orthopaedics, obstetric and gynaecology, critical care, paediatrics and the emergency department.
You will work in a supportive environment with training opportunities, to build on your foundation skills and develop your expertise.
Main duties of the job
You will be expected to provide pharmaceutical care to in-patients in a wide-range of different specialities on a rotational basis, working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to deliver a patient focused clinical pharmacy service.
You will be expected to support the Junior pharmacists within the team as well as Trainee Pharmacists and Undergraduate Students undertaking the MPharm course as well as supporting the Lead Pharmacist within the speciality area with their duties in order to gain opportunities to develop yourself.
