Job summary
A new and exciting development role has arisen to join the team as an Assistant Practitioner, working as part of the team on Gwenllian Ward, in Glangwili General Hospital.
Gwenllian is 20 bedded ward specialising in Acute Stroke & Stroke Rehabilitation. The successful candidates will need to have a keen interest in caring for the patient following an acute stroke and their ongoing rehabilitation whilst being committed to delivering a high standard of patient care. If appointed, you can look forward to working in a professional environment with a team that is passionate about delivering excellent care to our patients.
Main duties of the job
Level 4 vocational qualification in a relevant health care associated subject or Certificate in Health Care Support Worker Education is required for this post.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

- GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above or equivalent level 2 or above essential skills qualifications.

- Able to demonstrate understanding of the HCSW Code of Conduct, All Wales Delegation guidelines and all Wales Band 4 Assistant Practitioner Governance Framework.
