We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our portering team at Glangwili General Hospital, Carmarthen
This is an exciting opportunity for a hard working, friendly and conscientious individual to join our team.
Main duties of the job
We have a range of hours which include 24 hours cover including week ends and bank holidays.
Duties range from patients movement, security, driving, post room and waste collection.
Successful candidates will receive full training.
Successful candidates should be available with the need for flexibility in start times, working shifts and hours across the portering service between 06.00 to 24.00 hours. Weekends and bank holidays will also be included.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Hywel Dda University Health Board is the planner and provider of NHS healthcare services for people in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and its bordering counties. Our 11,000 members of staff provide primary, community, in-hospital, mental health and learning disabilities services for around 384,000 people across a quarter of the landmass of Wales. Numerous locations providing mental health and learning disabilities services;
Highly specialised and tertiary services commissioned by the Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee, a joint committee representing seven health boards across Wales.
