Hywel Dda University Health Board is seeking to appoint a Chief Executive Officer to help us on our continuing improvement journey. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the health and wellbeing of our communities.

Main duties of the job

You will be supported by our dedicated, and talented teams who are committed to achieving outstanding healthcare for all who live and visit this beautiful part of Wales.
You will be a strategic thinker who can bring visionary leadership, robust commercial acumen and demonstrate a high level of political awareness. You will have worked at a very senior level within a large complex organisation and have delivered sustainable service change in partnership with other care agencies.
About us
Hywel Dda University Health Board (the Health Board or Hywel Dda) is the local NHS organisation for Mid and West Wales.
As a health board, we plan, organise and provide health services for almost 400,000 people across Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, and Pembrokeshire. We manage and pay for the care and treatment that people receive in this area for physical, mental health and learning disabilities.
