We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Registered Nurses to join our Nursing teams based across Hywel Dda University Health Board. We have vacancies available in the following areas:
- Registered Nurse - Pre-assessment Services - Glangwili General Hospital, Carmarthen. (up to 37.5 hours per week)
- Registered Nurse - Critical Care - Glangwili General Hospital, Carmarthen. (Up to 30 hours per week)
- Registered Nurse - Critical Care - Prince Philip Hospital, Llanelli. (Up to 37.5 hours per week)
- Registered Nurse - Critical Care - Prince Philip Hospital, Llanelli. (Up to 34.5 hours per week) - This is a Fixed Term/Secondment Post until 31/05/2025.
- Registered Nurse - Outpatients Department - Withybush General Hospital, Haverfordwest. (Up to 30 hours per week)
We are looking for Nurses that are passionate & motivated about delivering the best care possible, who have excellent communication skills and are willing to work as part of a committed and skilled multi-disciplinary team. The ability to travel between sites may be required.
Main duties of the job
Critical Care - There are 4 critical care units across Hywel Dda University Health Board caring for level 2 and level 3 patients. The departments range in size from 4-18 beds, and each one provides a 24-hour service. The clinical specialities vary, but all departments care for a mix of medical, surgical and trauma patients.
Outpatients: The 4 outpatient departments across the health board cover a range of specialities such as vascular, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, general medicine, general surgery, dermatology, ENT, and specialist clinical services.

Highly specialised and tertiary services commissioned by the Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee, a joint committee representing seven health boards across Wales.
