This post is a Fixed Term/ Secondment until 31.07.2025 for the needs of the service.

Applications are invited from motivated, efficient and committed individuals for a position of Health Records Clerk, based at Dafen Offsite Storage Facility, Llanelli, Carmarthenshire.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will cover a range of duties (but not all) including;
- Filing and retrieving of patient records, locating, and providing patient records for all outpatient appointments, planned admissions and day case attendances.
- Operation of a computerised patients administration system, including inputting and retrieval of data
- Scanning of patient records
Applicants must possess excellent organisational and inter-personal skills. A flexible approach to working and working hours is required and you should be prepared to undertake additional duties as and when required. The ability to work effectively as part of a team is vital.

Hywel Dda University Health Board is the planner and provider of NHS healthcare services for people in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and its bordering counties. Our 11,000 members of staff provide primary, community, in-hospital, mental health and learning disabilities services for around 384,000 people across a quarter of the landmass of Wales. - Highly specialised and tertiary services commissioned by the Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee, a joint committee representing seven health boards across Wales.
