Hotel Services are currently looking to recruit individuals who would like to join a busy and committed department in providing portering services to cover all wards and departments. The successful candidates will play an integral role within the organisation.
We are seeking to appoint a Senior Porter to manage the on-site porters team at Withybush Hospital Haverfordwest
The Senior Porter will be responsible for on-site portering, front hall reception, security, mail and waste management.
Main duties of the job
The role will include rota planning, staff monitoring and supporting departmental performance targets in mandatory training and personal development.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, the ability to prioritise tasks and communicate effectively with the team and ensure services are maintained across the site.
A flexible approach to working hours is required. Hours of work average 37.5hrs per week over a 24 hour period including weekends and bank holidays. It may also be necessary to assist the team out of hours, during busy periods.
