We currently have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and adaptable Dental Nurse to join our highly motivated, professional and supportive dental team at Withybush Hospital.
You should have experience as a Qualified Dental Nurse or demonstrable competence through equivalent experience / NEB diploma level qualification,good communication and interpersonal skills along with an ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service. We are looking for a dynamic individual who prides in delivering high quality care and shares the vision of this service.
There is also the opportunity to work alongside the Designed to Smile Team.If the successful post holder has not already attended the Fluoride varnish course, they will be supported in-house to achieve this qualification.
You will need to comply with the Health Boards policies and procedures and ensuring compliance to IR(ME)R and WHTM01-05 & HTM01-01 to ensure an effective and efficient service is provided.
The post will be based at Withybush Hospitalhowever the ability to travel across sites in a timely manner is essential. This post is subject to a successful DBS and Occupational Health Screening.

Main duties of the job
We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Dental Nurse to join our Community Dental Service/ Designed to Smile Team. This role is full time, your main role will be to assist with the rolling out of the D2S programme throughout Hywel Dda area, duties will include applying fluoride in school settings and various administrative duties associated to the programme along with chairside duties within our clinical settings when required.
As a qualified Dental Nurse you will be based at Withybush Hospital although due to the nature of the role you will be expected to travel to other area within Hywel Dda.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
