Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a Team of Community Midwives in the Amman Valley Community Team, Carmarthenshire (covering Amman Valley, Llandeilo and Llandovery areas)

You will have overall responsibility for the operational management of clinical service delivery for your team of six midwives. You will provide all aspects of midwifery care for women and their families in the community setting whilst facilitating a home birth delivery and Midwifery Led Unit Service at Glangwili General Hospital General Hospital, Carmarthen.

Main duties of the job

Highly specialised and tertiary services commissioned by the Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee, a joint committee representing seven health boards across Wales.
