Job summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated practitioner to join our Forensic Mental Health Team. The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience in this specialist area of mental health.
The successful candidate will undertake/assist the assessment of individuals whose pose a significant risk of harm to others that is associated with their mental health.
They will provide advice and support to the generic mental health services.
They will work collaboratively with CMHT practitioners and Local Authority colleagues across the Health Board area to undertake reviews / assessments of individuals who pose a significant risk of harm to others.
They will support care co-ordinators within the generic mental health settings for individuals who meet the criteria for joint working.
They will care co-ordinate individuals in the community who meet the criteria for this.
The successful candidate will work closely with other agencies, including MAPPA, Police, Probation.
Main duties of the job
