We are recruiting for a Health Records Clerk based in our Offsite storage facility in Dafen, Llanelli, also working in the offsite storage unit in Llangennech, Llanelli.
The post is full time, working 37 1/2 hours per week (between the hours of 8.00am - 8.00pm).
Main duties of the job
The post holder will cover a range of duties (but not all) including;
- Filing and retrieving of patient records, locating, and providing patient records for all outpatient/inpatient attendances.
- Operation of a computerised patients administration system, including inputting and retrieval of data, tracking of hospital records to relevant locations across hospital sites.
- Dealing with telephone/email queries or requests.
- Condense patient hospital records in set areas to create additional filing space
- Move batches of files from one area to another for a seamless flow of filing.
A flexible approach to the needs of the service is required and to undertake additional duties as and when required.
