Hywel Dda University Health Board, Clinical Lead Paediatric Dietitian Band 7, 22.5 to 30 hours/week.

We are seeking a paediatric dietitian to join our highly respected Health Board wide team working as an integral member of multi-disciplinary teams with children, young people and their families across a range of paediatric specialities. This role offers the chance to become a paediatric dietetic clinical expert, managing a varied and complex caseload while taking a lead on nominated paediatric clinical service developments and improvements. You will be joining an ambitious, friendly team, focussed on delivering excellent dietetic care.
There is potential for some remote working with this role.
Main duties of the job
Work as an integral member of the Health Board paediatric dietetic and multi-professional paediatric team, and with a range of other healthcare staff and partner organisations as required, to develop, implement, deliver and evaluate delegated specialist areas of the paediatric service, acting as the dietetic expert. Manage a highly complex caseload of patients working across settings (secondary care, community and primary care) as necessary.
Clinically lead nominated / delegated aspects of the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of children and young people's dietetic services Health Board wide.Contributes, and takes a lead where appropriate on the work of dietetic and children's services, actively participating in development, evaluation and improvement work, and the implementation of policy, guidance and standards.
Operationally manage and clinically supervise delegated nutrition and dietetic staff ensuring consistent evidence based standards of care and effective multi-disciplinary working across the health board area.
Oversee the planning of dietetic delivery while acting as an expert dietetic advisor for other members of the team in relation to nominated lead area of paediatric dietetics. Lead the development and implementation of nutrition and dietetic related guidance and standards, resources, training and education in area of expertise and ensure effective integration across programs of work.
