Job summary

To support us in continuing to develop services, we are now seeking to appoint an AlliedHealth ProfessionalService Leadfor Multi Modal rehabilitation including thePost Viral Syndrome Service. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior AHP to lead this service across Hywel Dda University Health Board. In addition to operationally managing multi-disciplinarymulti modal rehabilitationservicessuch as post viral, neuro rehabilitation, pulmonary rehabilitation, the post holder will provide strategic advice and guidance for the Health Board on the AHP delivery ofexistingservices and implementation of the Post Viral Syndrome Service.

Main duties of the job

Well-developed communication skills will be key to leading changes alongside nursing, medical, operational and AHP colleagues. As part of the senior Therapy Team, the post holder will work to improve patient care by facilitating, enabling and supporting the AHP workforce in the delivery of high quality evidence based person-centred care. The role involves collaborative system working with primary, community and acute care colleagues across the Health Board, and providing expert AHP input to the development of multi-disciplinary clinical pathways for patients with neighbouring health providers and other organisations as appropriate.
