Job summary
Applications are invited for the post of Semi-skilled Assistant within the site based Estates Operational Maintenance team.
To carry out the duties of a semi-skilled maintenance worker within a busy department at the hospital. This will be assisting all the tradespersons as well as working on your own given tasks by senior workers at the site.
To work within a small team of other semi skilled operatives under the directions of senior Managers, Engineers and personnel.
Main duties of the job
The Semi-skilled Assistant will be part of an estates maintenance team which includes various craftspersons ensuring that plant and equipment are maintained to an appropriate standard to support clinical service departments in their prime task of treating patients. The appointed individual will support the site operational management.
The post-holder will be an integral part of a strong site based locality team structure.
