Job summary
The Catering Department at Llandovery Cottage Hospital is currently looking to recruit a Catering Assistant who would like to join a small team of individuals within the department in providing effective and efficient Catering services. The successful candidate will play an integral role within the team in ensuring the department is operated to the highest standard.
The contract currently available is 1 x 15 hour post. This contract is to work 3 days a week Monday to Sunday from 10am to 4pm. There might also be additional hours available to support the needs of the service, due to annual leave or sickness. Candidates will receive uniform and full training.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will be required to provide a catering and food service within all patient areas in accordance with the agreed Catering and Nutritional Policy as well as the Food Safety Regulations and Food Hygiene Regulations. The post holder will be responsible along with others on a rostered basis to assist with the delivery of patient services at ward and department level. The post holder may provide hospitality service to clinics and other areas.
