Hywel Dda University Health Board is looking to appoint a permanent Specialty Doctor in Trauma & Orthopaedics.

We have 2 positions available, 1 Full Time and 1 Fixed Term for 6 months
The position provides an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and forward thinking department with a strong work ethos and determination to improve standards of care, actively contribute to the further development of a Trauma & Orthopaedic service and build a strong reputation as a Specialty Doctor.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will join the current workforce in the Trauma & Orthopaedic department which consists of 11 Consultants, 9 Middle Grades and 11 junior doctors (Clinical Fellow, F2 and CT) along with an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, 2 Trauma Specialist Nurses and a Physician's Associate.The appointee will gain a wide variety of clinical exposure in Trauma & Orthopaedics outpatients/fracture clinics, inpatient, elective and trauma theatre exposure and on-call activities with a strong commitment to high standards of patient care.
