We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Senior Sister/ Charge Nurse to join the team on Ward 3 at Withybush Hospital Haverfordwest.
Ward 3 is a 24 bed ward part of the frailty pathway . for this role you will need to demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills. You must display a positive and professional manner and be open to change, being flexible and confident with the ability to manage a varied workload, as well as supervise, support and develop others in your team.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide visible, professional nursing leadership developing the core nursing team in the delivery of compassionate, high quality effective patient centred nursing care.
They will be expected to lead by example empowering the team to maintain patient safety, improve patient care/ experience ensuring high standards of nursing care.
Effective communication skills is pivotal to this role, the post holder will develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships with clinical specialists from across nursing and the wider multi-disciplinary team, working in partnership to meet the patient needs.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
