We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Health Care Support Workers to join our Nursing teams based atBronglais General Hospital in Aberystwyth.
We are looking for Health Care Support Workers that are passionate about delivering the best care possible, who have excellent communication skills and are willing to work as part of a committed and skilled multi-disciplinary team.
Opportunities are available in the following areas:
EUCC - Treats adults and children, within the Accident and Emergency area , CDU area for assessment of adult patients and minors injury unit that treats both adults and children
Meurig ward - specialising in Oncology and gastroenterology patients
Dyfi ward East- specialising in Respiratory patients with 2 HDU beds for Non-invasive ventilation and general medical patients
Dyfi ward - West - Cardiac care - with 5 beds for Acute cardias patients and further monitoring beds
Ystwyth ward - Stroke and frailty ward with 4 bed HASU
Rhiannon ward - elective surgical / orthopaedic ward with 3 bed High dependency beds
Ceredig ward - emergency surgical / orthopaedic ward
Y Banwy Ward / annex - respiratory ward / Infection prevention

Bronglais Hospital is an acute District General Hospital in Aberystwyth Ceredigion Mid Wales. It is managed by Hywel Dda University Health Board and is the only acute Hospital within Mid Wales serving not only the population of Ceredigion but also neighbouring counties of South Powys and Gwynedd.
We have a excellent reputation as a rural provider of acute and planned care, and we continue to provide a range of urgent and emergency care services.
Our emergency services operate 24/7 as does our access to acute specialities, critical care, cardiac care and surgical HDU
