Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Rheumatology Team for an enthusiastic and motivated nurse who would like to develop their clinical skills and promote effective quality of care to patients with autoimmune conditions. The post is for a permanent and full time Clinical Nurse Specialist in Rheumatology.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will facilitate relevant practice development in line with National standards, guidance and best practice through clinical practice, leadership, education, research and audit which reflect the Health Board clinical governance objectives. You will work as an integral member of the wider multi-disciplinary team to promote clinical and cost-effective care.

Potential candidates must have good communication and time management skills. They must be capable of supervising and educating staff, promoting personal and professional development within the team. The successful candidate must be able to use their own initiative but be able to work well as part of a team and know when to seek advice. Knowledge of evidence-based practice in Rheumatology is desirable.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
