Fixed term for 12 months to cover Employment Break.
An opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated, well organised, dynamic and enthusiastic individual with a passion for research to join our team on a fixed term basis until February 2027. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual who would thrive on the challenge of working in the NHS environment. This will require the growth of a thriving research culture supported by an appropriate infrastructure. We will provide the opportunity for patients to participate in research enables a more active role in making decisions about their healthcare, helps them to manage their conditions better, keep them out of hospital, and gives a greater sense of empowerment and provides a positive and rewarding patient experience.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be involved in ensuring that any research undertaken within PTHB safeguards the wellbeing of the research participants, to include patients, staff and control subjects. This will involve supporting participants through the research pathway, in accordance with the research protocol and relevant legislation. Applicants must have proven research and management and performance experience, highly developed communication and leadership skills, together with the ability to organise and motivate others whilst helping to strengthen the research culture across the organisation.
