Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of Senior Performance Management Analyst. We are seeking to recruit an individual who can demonstrate strong strategic leadership, has a proven track record of excellence and has a passion for taking forward change.

The post holder will support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of a robust corporate performance management framework for the Health Board, which is consistent with the Health Board's Strategic Direction and Operational Plan, and actively promote a culture of excellence. This will include assisting the Head of Performance in the implementation of the Board's Integrated Quality and Performance Framework to ensure the implementation of effective reporting systems at all levels of the organisation.

Providing assurance, highlighting any variances in performance and bring performance issues to the attention of the Head of Performance; collating data from a variety of sources, communicating and liaising with managers and clinicians at all levels across Powys Teaching Health Board, and with external partner colleagues.

  • Evidence of continuous professional development at senior management level and record of development
  • Excellent knowledge of NHS services and information systems
  • Significant knowledge of performance management at post graduate level, across multiple complex commissioning pathways spanning and involving multiple organisational and geographical boundaries
