Support the Primary & Community Care Academy and Clinical Education Team in the operational organisation and delivery of clinical skills education and training in relation to Powys Teaching Health Board.

Qualifications

Essential

  • NMC registered
  • Teaching qualification at Level 3 (minimum) or relevant experience at delivery of training
  • Evidence of relevant continuing professional development

Desirable

  • Teaching qualification e.g., PGCE
  • Competence to deliver education within the clinical skills framework

Experience

Essential

  • Significant post registration clinical experience within a clinical setting
  • Highly developed presentation / teaching skills
  • Experience of liaising with education providers and awarding bodies
  • An understanding of NHS policy relating to Registered Professionals and Support Worker roles

Desirable

  • People management skills
  • Experience in leading / implementing change

  • Demonstrate tact and diplomacy when working with others
  • Be proficient in a range of commonly used clinical skills associated with Nursing and Support Worker roles
  • Proven ability to devise, initiate, manage, and deliver learning / teaching programmes

  • Ability to be creative, innovative, adaptable, organised, motivated and methodical
