An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapist to join our Physiotherapy service working across beautiful Mid Powys.

We are looking for a person who wants to work within a motivated and enthusiastic team whose priority is to provide community rehabilitation.

You will need to have excellent communication and organisational skills, a flexible approach to work and negotiation skills to motivate patients and staff to deliver high standards of care.

You will work closely as part of an MDT within PTHB and Social services, the award winning Virtual ward and support integration.

Main duties of the job

GenericTo work as an integral and active part of the therapy and multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the therapy team in the efficient provision of a patient centred service.

Role specificMain responsibilities include delivering inpatient rehab as part of an in-reach model to Llandrindod Hospital, in addition to managing a community caseload independently across Mid Powys . The base will be Llandrindod hospital.

You will need to have excellent communication and organisational skills, a flexible approach to work and negotiation skills to motivate patients and staff to deliver high standards of care.

To contribute to service development, mentorship of junior staff, student physiotherapists and delegation of rehabilitation plans to enable active rehabilitation.

The team provide a 7-day service and all staff are expected to be part of the weekend roster.

Be flexible at times of increased demand to the service.

To participate in the planning, development and evaluation of community therapy service, having responsibility of defined projects.

We support CPD, in-service training, clinical supervision and career development.
