Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Nurse to join our team to take an important role in the modernisation of health service delivery. This role requires a nurse that is dynamic and who can demonstrate an understanding of how digital technology can support safer care.
The role will support the design and implementation of national digital programs and local digital transformation, representing nursing and the wider clinical team to share learning and experiences. You will be working closely with colleagues across the health board.
The post holder will act as an autonomous, accountable practitioner working on their own initiative and in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team and be visible to all staff in clinical settings. You will need excellent communication and organisational skills and an ability to build relationships to enable significant process changes.

Main duties of the job
The principal objective of this post is to provide the Lead Nurse Informatics and Nurse Staffing with senior professional support in the modernisation of health service delivery, promoting new ways of working utilising information technology to improve access to clinical information and knowledge to enhance shared decision-making regarding patient care. Assist the Lead Nurse Informatics and Nurse Staffing in representing the organisation while setting the strategic direction and operationalisation across the Health Board and NHS Wales with the national project team for the digitisation of nursing documentation and other nursing digitisation projects.
