Have you a proven track record of successfully delivering your professional and leadership portfolio, preferably in a rural and integrated health and social care environment?
Are you looking for a role where your natural leadership, drive and determination will shape the successful development and design of integrated performance systems across both commissioned and provider services?
If so, then we can offer you a role as Assistant Director of Performance and Commissioning in one of the most beautiful parts of the UK stretching from the Brecon Beacons to the foothills of Snowdonia, from the Marches to the Cambrian Mountains.
About us
What we can offer:
Powys is a rural county and as a health board we provide as many services as safely as possible locally; through GPs and other primary care professionals, a network of community hospitals and community services, including midwifery-led services, mental health, learning disabilities, children's services, adult rehabilitation and frailty services. Alongside this we have a significant commissioning role working with providers in both Wales and England.
Our ambitious Health and Care Strategy sets out our vision for the future of a healthy, caring Powys. It describes how in partnership with Powys County Council we will focus on wellbeing, ensure early help and support, tackle the main conditions that limit life, and provide joined up care. This includes increasing the capacity, capability and resilience of primary and community services, improving integration throughout the health and care pathway, and strengthening our planning and commissioning of high-quality services from neighbouring organisations.
