Job summary
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic member of staff to work alongside the multidisciplinary team on Llewellyn ward at Bronllys Hospital.
We are committed to providing safe and high-quality patient care and as such, we require an efficient and effective ward clerk to support the team in this process.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of the ward clerk on a busy ward are to ensure that the administration side of the ward runs efficiently and smoothly. This includes obtaining patient notes, filing of nursing/medical documents, answering telephone enquiries, stock ordering and plenty more.
The recent introduction of digital nursing records means having an IT background would be advantageous, as usage of multiple IT systems is a daily part of this role. Also, some knowledge/experience of the demands of a clinical environment would be desirable and beneficial.
