Main duties of the job

As our Receptionist & Administration Assistant, you will play a vital role in keeping our service running smoothly and professionally. Your day-to-day work will include:

Welcoming visitors to the building, ensuring everyone receives a friendly, professional first impression and is directed appropriately.

Providing high-quality reception support, including managing incoming calls, taking accurate messages, and dealing sensitively with enquiries from patients, families, staff, and partner organisations.

Maintaining accurate records, both manually and using computerised systems, including handling sensitive or confidential information with care.

Supporting office operations, such as sorting mail, photocopying, ordering stationery, filing documents, preparing paperwork, and assisting with meeting arrangements.

Contributing to a well-organised, welcoming environment, ensuring reception and waiting areas remain tidy, safe, and professionally presented.

Acting as a helpful point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, promoting strong communication and positive working relationships.

Responding proactively to changing priorities, managing interruptions, and working calmly under pressure when situations arise.
